Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Kanto Research platform (“Service”), operated by Brands of Babel LLC, operating as Kanto Research (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Your continued use following any modifications constitutes acceptance of those modifications.

Kanto Research is a market intelligence platform for graded Pokemon cards. The Service provides:

• Estimated fair market values based on recent transaction data
• Deal scoring and price history analytics
• Watchlists, alerts, and portfolio tracking tools
• Links to third-party marketplaces where cards may be purchased
• Market-wide analysis including price movers, volume data, and opportunity screening

The Service currently covers graded Pokemon cards and is available in English. We offer a free Alerts tier and a Market Intelligence tier (coming soon, free during early access). Pricing and features may change over time.

3.1 Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate, current information.

3.2 Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

3.3 Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@kantoresearch.com.

Kanto Research participates in the eBay Partner Network. Links to eBay listings contain affiliate tracking parameters. If you make a purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our fair value estimates, deal scores, or any analytical output. Our analytics are generated algorithmically from market transaction data.

We make commercially reasonable efforts to provide accurate data. However, data is sourced from third-party platforms and is subject to their limitations. We do not warrant:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data or fair value estimate
• Uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Service
• That all market transactions will be captured
• That card identification or grading attribution will be correct in every instance

Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. You use all data at your own risk.

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, data compilations, and analytics methodologies, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.

Pokemon, card names, set names, and associated imagery are trademarks of The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, and their affiliates. Grading company names are trademarks of their respective owners. eBay is a trademark of eBay Inc. Kanto Research is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these entities.

You may not scrape, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any data or content from the Service without prior written consent.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRANDS OF BABEL LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of King County, Washington.
